While I was visiting Ivan in Fort McMurray, there was an accident across the street from us back home.
A truck coming around the corner hit the tree across the street from our house. It took out a fire hydrant and two huge
trees. Fortunately no one was hurt. It sure did make our view better....

Welcome Home Troops...
Campbell River was the first stop back in Canada for the HMCS Ottawa...after 6 months in the Middle
East. This is also the first time our new dock facilities have been used. They were built to accommodate some
Cruise Ships which will be docking here starting in June. Build it and they will come. A few ships this year....many
more as the years go by....
